EVENT: WAKE UP OHIO!
DATE: October 25th, 2009
TIME: 3pm - 5pm
WHERE: Geauga County Fairgrounds Grandstand, 14373 N. Cheshire Street, Burton, OH 44021
SPEAKERS: DOC Thompson from WRVA- DOC fills in for Glenn Beck about every 2 months, and he was one of the featured speakers in Washington, DC on 9/12!
Pastor James Manning, from Harlem, he has been really speaking out about the corruption in Washington (if you are not familiar with Pastor Manning, this is a MUST SEE!) -

Tim Cox from www.goooh.com Tim is coming up from TEXAS to share a plan that he has developed, a plan whereby WE THE PEOPLE can oust all 435 House of Reps!
Matt Patrick from 640WHLO out of Akron/Canton will be the MC… Matt is really behind the Tea Party movement, he MC’d the only Ohio stop for the ‘Tea Party Express’ in Canton on 9/9 and there
were 5000 people there, did an excellent job!

There may be another speaker or two, we’ll let you know as we know…. Some of you may have heard that we were hoping to have Bob Basso, Bob has motivated literally millions to get involved -
(the man who portrays himself as Thomas Paine on YouTube -http://www.youtube.co… Bob is NOT coming to this event–he was just too booked to fit us in (60
appearances in 69 days), but he did promise us that he would come to our next event!
BRING: The Grandstand will hold about 2500 people and they will be adding to that some bleachers that will hold another 1000, approximately. There’s also room in the box seat section for probably 200
to 300 chairs. (Maybe quite a bit more.) So, if you have a lawn-chair, bring it incase the Grandstand is full. 3/4 of the Grandstands are covered…but let’s pray for no rain. We
have no idea how many people will be coming, we are inviting everyone from Buffalo to Columbus to Pittsburgh. Bring sweaters and jackets if it is cool, let’s hope it isn’t snowing!!! There will be no
water, as the pipes are drained for winter….so if you are going to want water, you need to bring it with you. We are renting a couple of Porti-Potties…
PARKING: There will be plenty of parking, and it is FREE! And there is no charge for the event, we want EVERYONE to come! We will be passing around a donation basket, for those of you who would like to
help us with the expenses of renting the Fairgrounds and flying in the speakers…and other expenses that come with putting on a program like this.
T-SHIRTS: We will have T-Shirts and Sweat Shirts for sale! They are a great way to tell the world what you think, without saying a word!
DON’T BRING: It probably doesn’t even need to be said, but just for the record, DO NOT BRING ALCOHOL OF ANY KIND to the event. We assured the FAIR Manager there would be NO ALCOHOL.

Bill Wills and WTAM along with Matt Patrick and 640WHLO are promoting the “WAKE UP OHIO!” event for us, and we hope to get newspaper coverage as well. Please, all of you, forward this email on to as many as you can, and bring everyone you can!

Powerful Letter to the President!

Here’s an excellent letter to the
President. I wish I had written it so I could be on Obama’s list.
The school teacher really nailed him. How many millions of Americans
across this country think exactly what this school teacher has put in
this e-mail? What scares me is that every single day something surfaces
that has been signed as a “Presidential order,” or suddenly just appears
as law! WHO does this stuff while we are all sleeping at night? Those
printing presses in DC must run night and day. This first 100 days have
been the most destructive period of time in our nation’s history - and
we don’t even know the half of it!

Mr. Obama:

I have had it with you and your
administration, sir. Your conduct on your recent trip overseas has
convinced me that you are not an adequate representative of the United
States of America collectively or of me personally.

You are so obsessed with appeasing the
Europeans and the Muslim world that you have abdicated the
responsibilities of the President of the United States of America. You
are responsible to the citizens of the United States. You are not
responsible to the people of any other country on earth.

I personally resent that you go around
the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we
are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. Sir, what
do you think the First World War and the Second World War were all
about, if not the consideration of the people of Europe? Are you brain
dead? What do you think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not
understand or know the history of the 20th century?

Where do you get off telling a Muslim
country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian
country? Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the
Constitution of the United States? This country was founded on
Judeo-Christian ethics, at least until you came along, and the
principles governing this country come directly from this heritage. Do
you not understand this?

Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia
is an affront to all Americans. Our President does not bow down to
anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia . You didn’t show Great
Britain, our best and one of our oldest allies, the respect they
deserve, yet you bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia. How dare you,
sir! How dare you!

You can’t find the time to visit the
graves of our greatest generation because you don’t want to offend the
Germans, but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey. You offended our
dead and every veteran when you gave the Germans more respect than the
people who saved the German people from themselves. What’s the matter
with you?

I am convinced that you and the members
of your administration have the historical and intellectual depth of a
mud puddle and should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you.

You are so self-righteously offended by
the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers, yet do
nothing about the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank,
Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie
Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do about them? Anything? I
seriously doubt it.

Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period,
that’s $45 million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and
Freddie executives have already been awarded $51 million - not a bad
take. Who authorized that and why haven’t you expressed your outrage
at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have
right now.

What about the U.S. House members
passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members - on top of
the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves?
I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in
my pay to save jobs with my employer. You haven’t said anything about
that. Who authorized that? I surely didn’t!

I resent that you take me and my fellow
citizens as brain-dead and not caring about what you idiots do. We are
watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with
all of you.

I also want you to know that I
personally find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to
every one of my sensibilities. I promise you that I will work
tirelessly to see that you do not get a chance to spend two terms
destroying my beautiful country.

More Evidence That It Is Time For a Tax Revolt!

I have reached the boiling point! This week I read in Fox News online that my tax dollars are being spent to by the Federal Government, to the tune of $2.6 million, to make sure prostitutes in China drink less on the job!

“That’s the goal of a five-year study, bankrolled by the National Institutes of Health, designed to help lower HIV infections among China’s “female sex workers,” www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/05/14/government-funds-million-program-make-chinese-prostitutes-drink/

Then, I find out that “Government researchers are spending more than $400,000 in taxpayer money to hit the bars in Argentina. And there is still more, all in the same week! “The federal government is spending $178,000 to better understand why drug-abusing prostitutes in Thailand are at greater risk for HIV infection, an endeavor taxpayer watchdogs are calling a huge waste of American taxpayers’ money….But women aren’t its only target. I am angry! And you should be, too! What are OUR tax dollars doing going to China and Argentina and Thailand for such sinful and worse than wasteful purposes? I think it is time we ALL get together and vote out everyone who is not standing up and fighting against such horrendous waste of our money. Those who are going to spend OUR money like this cannot be trusted!. It is time for a tax revolution! What do you say?!?! This is what the Tea Parties are all about! And now the new RNC chairman is wading into the GOP debate over whether the party should moderate or remain ardently conservative.

“This is a no-brainer,” Steele told FOX News. “I’m a student of multiplication and addition, and not subtraction and division. My focus is on building a party that reaches across the board.”

Steele ripped into conservatives who want moderates purged from the GOP and rejected former Vice President Dick Cheney’s assertion that in terms of being a Republican, he’d go with Rush Limbaugh over former Secretary of State Colin Powell — who endorsed candidate Barack Obama for president.

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

To claim sovereignty over certain powers pursuant to the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America, to serve notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates, and to insist that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO
(THE SENATE CONCURRING):

WHEREAS, The Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States reads as follows: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people”; and

WHEREAS, The Tenth Amendment defines the total scope of federal power as being that specifically granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States and no more; and

WHEREAS, The scope of power defined by the Tenth Amendment signifies that the federal government was created by the states specifically to be an agent of the states; and

WHEREAS, Today, in 2009, the states are demonstrably treated as agents of the federal government; and

WHEREAS, Many federal laws directly violate the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States; and

WHEREAS, The Tenth Amendment assures that we, the people of the United States and each sovereign state in the Union of States, now have, and have always had, rights the federal government may not usurp; and

WHEREAS, Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution of the United States, states in part, “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,” and the Ninth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States states that “The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people”; and

WHEREAS, The United States Supreme Court ruled in New York v. United States, 505 U.S. 144 (1992), that Congress may not simply commandeer the legislative and regulatory processes of the states; and

WHEREAS, A number of proposals by previous administrations, some now pending proposals by the present administration, and some proposals by Congress may further violate the Constitution of the United States; now therefore be it

RESOLVED, That the State of Ohio hereby claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States; and be it further

RESOLVED, That this resolution serves as notice and demand to the federal government, as our agent, to cease and desist, effective immediately, mandates that are beyond the scope of the constitutionally delegated powers; and be it further

RESOLVED, That all compulsory federal legislation that directs states to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalty or sanction or that requires states to enact legislation or lose federal funding be prohibited or repealed; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit authenticated copies of this resolution to the President of the United States, the President Pro Tempore of the United States Senate, the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President of the Senate of each other state’s legislature, and each member the Ohio Congressional delegation.

If there ever was a time when an Independent had a real chance to win the election for an elected office, NOW is the time! The Tea Parties are growing and peoples awareness of how corrupt the government is, and how we have been betrayed by both the Democrats and the Republicans is at an all time high…now is the perfect time for those who want to make a real difference in our Country to come forward to represent the people, without being under the umbrella of the Democrats or the Republicans, so that there are no strings attached, no people and pocketbooks to payback!

NOW is the time to change your status from a Democrat or a Republican to an Independent. Let both parties know that you are voting not for a Party, but for a person who has high moral and ethical standards, a person who will do what he/she promises to do…

Come and join us for the Ashtabula County Independence Day Tea Party, June 29th, (Monday before July 4th) from 6-8 pm! It will be held right in front of the Old Court House, in Jefferson, OH.

We had a wonderful turnout for our first Tea Party, April 15, inspite of the rainy, cold weather! We hope that this time, with more notice, and with having the Tea Party in the evening, that there will be even more people come! Tell all your relatives and your friends!

We have a great program planned! Come and get informed, we must work to change things while there is still time to change, before it is too late….

With this being the 4th of July Independence Celebration, we are going to be concentrating on the Freedoms that we as Americans have, and informing you of the Freedoms that are quickly being taken away from us. ”Independence” means “Freedom”. We are loosing our Freedoms and our Independence! Bring everyone you can!
